As a Front Desk Security Officer with Allied Universal at a premier commercial real estate location, you will be the first point of contact for tenants, visitors, and guests. Your primary responsibilities will include monitoring access to the building, verifying credentials, and assisting individuals with inquiries or directions. You will play a crucial role in helping to deter security-related incidents by maintaining a strong and professional presence at the front desk, while always providing exceptional customer service. Your communication skills will be key as you interact with a diverse range of people throughout your shift. Pay Rate: $25.45 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Greet visitors and tenants in a professional manner, providing customer service while monitoring access to the location.
• Follow security-related procedures and site-specific policies to help maintain a secure environment at the front desk.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations at the front desk in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating as needed.
• Monitor and document visitor and employee access, issuing badges and maintaining logs as required by site protocols.
• Assist with emergency response activities, including communicating with building management and emergency services when appropriate.
• Observe and report any irregularities or suspicious activity at the front desk or lobby area to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives.
• Support the overall security-related operations of the location by remaining alert to potential concerns and assisting with incident documentation.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
