USPI Chief Executive Officer - Surgical Institute of Reading
Tenet HealthcareAbout the role
MARKET SUMMARY:
The Surgical Institute of Reading and Reading Surgery Center lead a different approach to patient-centered care. As physician owned facilities, we make sure that the patient is our only bottom line- not profits. We concentrate only on surgery, without worrying about an emergency department or other distractions. We believe this gives our patients an advantage in not only our dedicated focus, but also the lack of infectious diseases. Since we are smaller than a typical hospital, you don’t have to worry about parking a mile away and navigating through wings and floors. Just park at the front door and in only a few steps you will already be where you need to be!
Our Surgical hospital and ambulatory surgery center have received national recognition for the level of care we are able to provide our patients in the areas in and around Reading and Wyomissing, PA. Between both locations, we provide a full rage of services for patients that literally cover you from head to toe. Our doctors and nurses, along with the rest of our staff, are all highly trained in their fields of expertise. We also provide in-house radiology and anesthesia, ensuring our patients have all the services they need in one location from medical professionals they know and trust.
In addition to our hospital and surgical center, we also have three physical therapy locations. These locations are ideal for patients located in the Exeter, Reading, and Wyomissing areas. Working with a dedicated physical therapist after surgery or treatment assists with speeding up recovery and restoring full strength and range of motion. These therapy sites also offer sports medicine physical therapy, which is ideal for getting athletes of any level back into the game. On top of the standard physical therapy options, we also offer a variety of specialized services. TMJ treatment, concussion therapy, occupational therapy, BIG Parkinsons therapy, and vestibular (balance) therapy are all important offerings for our patients.
