POSITION SUMMARY:

Quality Control Inspectors perform detailed inspections on parts, materials, and processes as established by Andersen. They make critical real-time assessments regarding the conformity of these items per Andersen quality requirements and specifications with minimal supervision.


POSITION PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Understand and follow procedures, rules, standards and guidelines, including Safety, Quality, and AMS functions as defined by Andersen. Have excellent, reliability, attendance.

  • Review products and materials as required according to control plans, standard work, and work instructions.

  • Detail oriented and capable of making careful observations of both part features and mechanical performance. Perform regular measurements using various instruments identified by control plans and/or standard work, then identify and report potential quality problems.

  • Interpret engineering prints, schematics, specifications, procedures, performance standards, or various other criteria in order to make rational conformance determinations in real-time. This work may include the collection and assessment of data.

  • Track actions and findings using either handwritten or electronic means as required by Andersen, using clear written English language.

  • Clearly and quickly communicate findings to production and quality management, as defined by their procedures.

  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
