Principal Domain Architect, Wireless Connectivity

As Domain Architect for our Connectivity Solutions, you will be architecting our future deliveries together with other architects across the organization (e.g. our Enterprise Architects and Hardware Platform Architects).
  

The Role
You will be responsible for conducting technical analysis and for identifying and designing the technical stepping-stones needed when developing new wireless connectivity applications as part of Demant’s Hearing Solutions, based on the Bluetooth® protocol family. Your primary tasks are: 

 

• Technical analyses – ensuring sound and fact-based decisions.
• Technical contact towards external suppliers.
• Facilitating the creation of system design contents - including the interface agreements matching the system architecture. 
• Participation in SAFe® ceremonies to accompany architecture increments through the agile development pipeline.

Technical Background

We expect you to have a master’s degree in engineering or computer science - combined with a broad technical background within product development. Ideally, you have some years of work experience working as an architect. You are interested in new technology.

 

Furthermore, you have modelling experience and are comfortable decomposing complex systems and negotiating the right interfaces and structures for optimal implementation. Having experience working according to the SAFe® framework will also be an advantage.

 

Good interpersonal and communication skills
You enjoy working in teams and like to collaborate closely with colleagues across departments. You understand that making architecture is very much about communication and involvement of the right people. You have a deep interest for technology and a motivation for creating the system overview and setting the systems into a broader context.
