OscarAbout the role
Hi, we're Oscar. We're hiring a Senior Director, Medical Economics - Corporate to join our Medical Economics.
Oscar is the first health insurance company built around a full stack technology platform and a relentless focus on serving our members. We started Oscar in 2012 to create the kind of health insurance company we would want for ourselves—one that behaves like a doctor in the family.
About the role:
The Senior Director, Medical Economics - Corporate, serves as the strategic anchor for Oscar's medical expense financial planning and corporate reporting architecture. You will influence and guide a team of analytically-minded professionals. The team owns the end-to-end medical trend forecasting and budgeting processes, ensuring the accuracy of financial outlooks and the integrity of corporate planning assumptions.
The Senior Director functions as the bridge between Medical Economics, Corporate Finance, and Investor Relations. You will collaborate with analytical leads to synthesize complex medical data into our quarterly earnings narrative and long-term financial outlook. With your analytical leadership, the role is accountable for crafting high-impact content — specifically quarterly earnings materials, Board of Directors decks, and Management Committee reporting designed to inform senior leadership on key performance drivers, risks, and opportunities.
You will report into the VP, Medical Economics.
