The team is responsible for the delivery of the total embedded solution, starting from market requirements, specifications, design, making of the hardware and software in collaboration with suppliers, up to the maintenance of the delivered solution.</span></p> <p> </p> <p><span><strong>Your Role</strong></span></p> <p><span>As a senior embedded software design and development engineer you are our technical expert and you’ll make sure that your requirements are translated correctly into embedded solutions.</span></p> <p><span>You will be part of our in-house development team and will work on both application agnostic and application dependent feature development for different embedded solutions. Hands-on attitude is a must for this role. Dependent on the on-going activities, your tasks may include</span></p> <p> </p> <p><span><strong>Your tasks will be:</strong></span></p> <ul type="disc"> <li><span>Facilitates the project leader and product owner for technical interfacing with stakeholders and partners upon request​.</span></li> <li><span>Make the design choices of the SW product in accordance with high-level architecture, requirements &amp; constraints​.</span></li> <li><span>Consult with product owner and architect to clarify input of features, product needs, architecture choice and translates inputs towards the SW design. ​</span></li> <li><span>Ensure SW detailed design, and skeleton construction are made, maintained and explained to SW development team and SW architect​.</span></li> <li><span>Evaluate SW design KPIs: interoperability, interaction, criticality, technical complexion, risks and testability​.</span></li> <li><span>Implement the SW components according to agreements​and relevant test cases (manual and/or automatic) and validate SW functionality according to acceptance criteria and test plan​.</span></li> <li><span>Ensure consistency and traceability for the requirements​.</span></li> <li><span>Perform and explain quality checks ​</span> <ul type="disc"> <li><span>code review,  ​</span></li> <li><span>merge review, ​</span></li> <li><span>manage code quality metrics​,</span></li> <li><span>assess testability, re-usability, code cleanness, code coverage​.</span></li> </ul> </li> <li><span>Support trouble shooting, defect/bug and issues encountered​.</span></li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><span><strong>Your Qualifications</strong></span></p> <p><span>  </span></p> <ul type="disc"> <li><span>You feel a strong match with the Daikin Vision and want to work on innovative products to fight climate change.</span></li> <li><span>You have a Master’s Degree in Electronics or ICT or related, with a specific interest in embedded software developmen
