Monroe NC - Service Center Mechanic Maintenance ME01 - ME06 ft 2nd SHIFT 21.65-29.85/ hr

Job Details:

This position is responsible to diagnose issues, adjust, repair, and perform routine maintenance on vehicles and equipment while complying with Department of Transportation rules and regulations, maintaining a safe work environment, and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

Position involves :

Primarily Maintaining different types of vehicles at the Monroe, NC Complex.

Also, Diagnosing and Repairing vehicles including CMV’s, feed trailers, chick trailers, refrigerated trailers, pallet jacks, industrial forklifts, rough terrain forklifts, generators etc.

Position Requires

Experience in the repair and maintenance of CMVs, Light vehicles, Industrial forklifts & pallet jacks or other types of equipment that require mechanical aptitude.

• Must be able to lift 75 lbs.
• Must be able to communicate well with others.
• Must be able to work some Saturdays when required.
• Must be willing to be on call every 8th weekend.

Must have a minimum of (6) month or mechanic work experience documented in work history section the application or be a graduate and/or student of an industrial maintenance training program. (can be a combination of employers as long as experience is at least 6 months )

Rehire criteria :

• Must have 90 days since last term date.
• if term 3x or more not eligible.
