As the Sr. Financial Analyst for HID’s Physical Access Control Solutions (PACS) Operations organization, you will take ownership of daily financial activities related to Supply Chain Operations, Distribution, and Engineering, acting as the SME for cost, savings, and trend analysis. You will support periodic forecasting processes, including spend, headcount, cost savings, and investments, and lead the Monthly Performance Review process with variance analysis and executive presentations. Your role involves optimizing Inventory, Price Purchase Variance, SLOB, freight, and other cost drivers, developing financial models for P&L management, and publishing key performance indicators. Additionally, you will provide financial insights, identify and address issues, and collaborate with HID Global Finance and Accounting teams, supporting other HID Business Areas and functions as needed.

As our Sr. Financial Analyst, you’ll support HID’s success by: 

 

  • Leading the day-to-day financial activities in support of the Physical Access Control Solutions (PACS) Operations organization, including Supply Chain Operations, Distribution, and Engineering.
  • Acting as the primary SME for cost, savings and trend analysis with PACS Operations organization, including direct materials, direct labor, fixed production cost and related SG&A spend.
  • Supporting periodic forecast processes (month, quarter, annual), including planning for spend, headcount, cost savings and investments for PACS Operations organization.
  • Supporting the Monthly Performance Review process, including variance analysis, financial bridges, linkage of operational activities to financial performance, and preparation of executive presentations as needed.
  • Leading the process, analysis and optimization around Inventory, Price Purchase Variance (PPV), SLOB (Slow/Obsolete), Frieght, and other operational cost drivers.
  • Developing financial models to support P&L management, planning and analysis.
  • Analyzing and publishing key performance indicators vs. targets.
  • Participating in key strategic discussions for PACS Operations function.
  • Preparing ad-hoc analysis and presentations for business reviews and other executive meetings.
  • Providing financial insight in assessing risk and opportunities to achieve financial commitments; independently, be able to identify issues, and proactively provide solutions.
  • Working closely with other members of the HID Global Finance & Accounting teams to ensure understanding, alignment and communication of financial impacts of business activities and decisions.
  • Providing financial support to other HID BAs, PACS BUs and functions as needed.

Your Experience and Education include:             

 

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
  • At least 4 years of experience in a financial analysis role, preferably in Operations, Fulfillment, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, etc.
  • Ability to work in a matrixed organization in a global environment.
  • Ability to effectively communicate in the English language, both verbally and in writing.     
  • Advanced MS Office applications, such as Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.
  • Experience with OAC, HFM, PowerQuery.
  • Problem solving, ability to think outside of the box.
  • Effective communication skills.
