BI Program Manager

The Tiger Analytics team is looking for a BI Technical Product Owner to deliver innovation and tools to global business teams. This is a cross functional role that requires strong interpersonal skills and the ability to liaison with technical teams and interact with internal clients.

Job Duties

• Analyze business requirements; construct the conceptual model and data flow processes
• Communicate data architecture to development teams
• Consult and perform design reviews to ensure business needs are met
• Deriving KPI's
• Identify and execute risk mitigation and compliance exercises
• Utilize Business Intelligence tools to build and support dashboards
• Consolidate existing reports
• Partner with other team members as well as cross-functional partners to support business processes and system solutions
• Manage and resolve client issue escalation and systemic improvements
• Partner with Business Analysts to bring new scalable solutions to business functions
• Lead validation efforts to ensure data quality
• Collect, organize, manipulate, and analyze data from a variety of enterprise databases in support of business case development

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• 5-10 years experience in a BI Program Manager or a related role
• Recent track of record in using the methods and tools of program management
• Understanding of complex systems and databases
• Good understanding of Pharma data sets
• Experience with data analytics, data visualization, and statistics
• Ability to articulate pros and cons of various technologies and platforms and architectural options
• Excellent knowledge of Business intelligence and reporting tools PowerBI and Tableau
• Experience in AWS-S3 for sourcing data
• Good in problem-solving, storytelling and stakeholder management
• Experience and knowledge with Data Warehouse ETL process
• Exposure to cloud platforms and big data systems such as Hadoop HDFS, Hive is a plus
• Experience with tools and concepts related to data and analytics, such as dimensional modeling, ETL, reporting tools, data governance, data warehousing, structured and unstructured data
• PowerBI, Tableau, Alteryx, Cloud analytics experience
• Consulting experience is highly preferred
