Job Description

You can make your mark as Production Engineer Subsea Rock Installation (SRI) for Boskalis Seabed Intervention! As Production Engineer you have the opportunity to make a major contribution and have direct impact on our Business. As Production Engineer SRI, you will be responsible for maintaining, developing and using the production models/ knowledge database within Boskalis Seabed Intervention specifically for the operations of our Subsea Rock Installation Vessels. These models are applied for estimating the rock installation productions on future projects. In addition, your challenge is to follow up the production progress and find optimizations and improvements of the vessel’s operations.

Boskalis Seabed Intervention delivers integrated solutions for subsea infrastructure related projects in the offshore energy market, i.e. Oil & Gas and Renewables. Seabed Intervention focuses on providing integrated solutions for the installation and protection/stabilization of nearshore pipeline systems, including landfall construction, pipeline installation, trenching/backfilling and subsea rock installation works.

Your responsibilities as Production Engineer & Data Analyst Subsea Rock Installation

Your main responsibility lies in all aspects of production calculation and optimization, from project preparation to evaluation. Contribute to the growth of Boskalis by:

• Independently gathering, checking and managing multidisciplinary information for the production database, which you will use as input for production requests by the tender department.
• Collecting and analyzing data from executed projects and translate to new insights and define opportunities for improvements to increase efficiency.
• Pro-active involvement in technical improvements onboard the vessel.
• Supporting and evaluating projects by staying informed about production data and implementation methods. Checking productions and the budget and timely report deviations to the project team – proposing ideas for improvement.

Your qualities
You can make your mark as a Production Engineer & Data Analyst SRI if you have:

• A higher professional education in a technical discipline, preferably civil, offshore or mechanical engineering.
• Strong analytical skills and affinity with operations.
• Experience / affinity with data analytics and analysis (e.g. Excel and Python) is a pro.
• Good communication skills and good knowledge of the English language, both written and spoken
• You are motivated and eager to develop your skills in this role.
