Job Title: Director I - Service Programs - 993438 Location: Fort Lauderdale-Davie, Florida Work Type: Full Time with Full Benefits Job Category: Exempt Hiring Range: Commensurate with experience Pay Basis:Annually
Subject to Grant Funding?: Yes Essential Job Functions: 1. Reviews current operating practices and procedures to determine whether improvements are necessary in areas such as workflow, reporting procedures, or expenditures.2. Plans, direct and coordinate department efforts based on analysis of operations, evaluations, demographics, and other research information.
3. Develops and implement plans and objectives for the department in an effective and innovative fashion.
4. Develops and implement marketing plans to increase clients and build awareness
5. Prepares and execute contracts, project budgets, budget justifications, re-budgeting and carry-over requests
6. Monitors all grant expenditures, and reconcile budgets on an ongoing basis providing monthly reports to PI's
7. Performs other duties as assigned.
Marginal Job Functions: Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: 1. Knowledge of applicable federal, state or local laws and regulation related to project implementation.
2. Demonstrate leadership, collaboration, critical thinking and teamwork in addressing decisions and resolving issues.
3. Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing.
4. Must possess ability to work with diverse individuals.
5. Superior organizational and management skills to effectively prioritize, organize, and oversee completion of tasks as well as exercise judgment and arrive at valid conclusions for effective decision-making.
6. Ability to work with limited supervision and be adept at MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint applications).
