MISSION
The Charge Registered Nurse is responsible for constantly monitoring the patient and work-flow to keep the Ambulatory Surgery Center functioning efficiently, while leading the registered nurse team effectively.
OUTCOMES
- In a fast paced, high-volume work environment, be able to lead an effective team who will accurately identify clinical information, symptoms, and take appropriate action in a timely manner.
- Use independent judgement to deliver sound clinical decisions for the patient and organization, while simultaneously meeting patient needs and adhering to facility policies and procedures.
- Creates a positive and motivating environment for patients and team members to enable effective feedback and direction to colleagues and appropriate patient/ family education.
- Disseminate the appropriate tasks to each member of the team in a clear, compelling, and objective manner including daily assignments, schedules, and medication protocol.
- Able to give and utilize feedback to encourage learning, while remaining self-aware regarding their own actions and resulting impact.
- Thrive in an accelerated change agility environment with the ability to learn and adopt new responsibilities based on shifting demands.
