Responsibilities

The Regional CMO/COO provides the leadership and vision necessary to ensure that the hospital has proper operational controls and reporting procedures in place to ensure financial strength and operating efficiency. The Regional CMO/COO is a hands-on, visible leader within their respective market(s) and is responsible for all over strategic leadership, planning, development, direction, coordination and control of activity within patient care, clinical and clinical support service areas. This role works collaboratively with leaders and staff to ensure that high quality, patient-centered care is delivered in a cost-effective manner.While providing executive leadership, the Regional CMO demonstrates in-depth knowledge and expertise for hospital operations and compliance with regulatory bodies, clinical documentation, and end-to-end revenue cycle management.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

Required qualifications:

1. Medical Degree and Master’s Degree in Business, Health Administration of related field2. Minimum of ten (10) years of clinical practice experience3. Minimum of ten (10) years of hospital operations at the leadership level4. Minimum of ten five (5) years of experience as a Chief Medical Officer within a multi-site, multi-state health system, or within a large, complex acute care hospital5. Proven ability to ensure quality patient care is delivered within a cost-effective manner6. In-depth knowledge of clinical documentation and revenue cycle operations and management, including inpatient and professional billing and collections7. Responsible for the measurement/effectiveness of all internal/external processes8. Demonstrates commitment to quality patient-centered community care9. Ability to collaborate with the management team to develop plans for operational infrastructure10. Ability to oversee major workforce/resource decisions and lead at all levels of management11. Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills12. Must obtain Sexual Harassment Certification within 6 months, and then maintain biennially

Our Total Rewards package includes, but is not limited to, paid time off, a 401K retirement plan, medical, dental, and vision coverage, tuition reimbursement, and many more voluntary benefit options.  Benefits may vary based on employment status, i.e. full-time, part-time, per diem or temporary.  A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $450,000.00 to $600,000.00 on an annualized basis. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire and will be dependent on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to geographic location, skill set, experience, education, credentials, and licensure. Additionally, employees in this position may be eligible to participate in the Company’s annual discretionary bonus program. Discretionary bonuses, if any, are based on a number of factors, which include but are not limited to individual and Company performance.
