Your purpose at Kertos

You are integral part of our AI Squad at Kertos, the European Champion for Compliance Automation. You shape the intelligence of our platform by applying cutting-edge tech to push the boundaries of automation and innovation. As Senior AI Engineer, you combine software engineering and machine learning expertise, integrating cutting-edge models and frameworks to bring AI agents and LLM-based features to life. From designing and contributing to our pipelines and models to ensuring seamless deployment throughout the product lifecycle and iterating on user feedback, you’ll have a huge impact on the future of Kertos. 

What you’ll be doing here:

• Lead the way in deeply integrating AI agents and LLMs into our backend
• Contribute to product development:bring in your ideas and automate workflows, improve suggestions and increase user satisfaction even further
• End-to-end ownership: develop technical concepts and own them across the whole development lifecycle
• Combine machine learning expertise and software engineering to build a high-quality codebase
• Integrate MLOps principles and tools that help you and your team for development
• Make sure the developed models work as expected in our production environments in a secure and stable way
• Optimize user value by closely living by customer feedback and usage data, maximizing our daily impact

The skills, motivation, and mentality you should bring

• You have extensive professional experience in building scalable web applications
• You have hands-on expertise in MLOps, including deployment, automation, and monitoring, to bring models to production
• With a data-driven, quality-focused mindset, you run reproducible experiments and continuously improve how we iterate on our systems
• You’ve worked with RAG systems, know how to use embeddings effectively, and can optimize retrieval performance
• If you have experience with NLP techniques that would be a welcome bonus
• You constantly challenge our status quo, love to spark innovation and strive to grow with us, as a team
• You are a strong communicator and have excellent collaboration abilities to effectively work in cross-functional, agile teams
