Description
Under the direct supervision of TTC MGMT the 2nd Shift Facilities Staff is responsible for cleaning of the Technical Training Center in the afternoon and support planned maintenance activities when needed. They are responsible for minor repair projects, and maintenance supply inventory, and ensuring all maintenance requests are addressed appropriately and promptly. They are responsible for managing these functions following the stated mission, goals, and policies established by the Chief Executive Officer and the administrative staff.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Maintains a clean facility, including the main building, outbuildings, trails, ground, storage areas, vehicles, etc., interior and exterior.
- Serve as a leader to ensure the facility is cleaned correctly, projects are completed promptly, and executed effectively.
- Ensures room setup for reserved rooms is carried out thoroughly and timely.
- Advises supervisor of needed building repairs as observed while cleaning building and grounds.
- Supervises and coordinates all maintenance and branch/campus repairs. to the Facility Maintenance Director.
- Assists supervisor wherever needed with communication and oversight required for contracted vendors performing work at the branch.
- Responsible for ordering and stocking supplies needed for maintaining facility readiness.
- Be available to work off-hour shifts to accommodate work completed at night, oversee vendors as needed, and support special events and seasonal activities.
- Maintain a clean, orderly, safe, and well-stocked maintenance work area.
- Other duties and responsibilities assigned by supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma/GED required.
- High level of organizational skills and ability to prioritize.
- Ability to read and follow oral and written directions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required.
- Ability to relate effectively to diverse groups of people from all community social and economic segments.
- A positive attitude and enjoying working in a team-oriented environment are essential to success.
- Ability to operate maintenance and lawn maintenance equipment, perform general maintenance on vehicles and have general knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and light carpentry.
Requirements
Able to work:
Monday - Thursday: 12:30pm-6:00pm
Friday: 8:30am -3:30pm
