About the role
Position Summary...
What you'll do...
The Program Content Manager operates at the center of strategy and execution for one of the most forward-looking initiatives in retail: Drone Delivery. This is not a “make slides” role. This is a narrative ownership role. You will architect the story of the Drone Program — ensuring leaders, partners, and cross-functional teams clearly understand where we’re going, why it matters, and how we win. You’ll transform complexity into alignment, protect message integrity across a fast-moving matrix organization, and elevate how the program shows up at every level — from working teams to executive forums. If you thrive in high-visibility environments where clarity is currency and precision matters, this role is built for you. The role is based in Bentonville, AR and reports to the Senior Program Manager. You’ll sweep us off our feet if…- Consistently turn complexity into clarity without losing nuance
- Possess high emotional intelligence and sharp organizational awareness
- Know how to influence without authority and manage upward with confidence
- Can operate in ambiguity without waiting for perfect inputs
- Have the discipline to safeguard the integrity of a narrative in a fast-moving environment
- Bring strong visual storytelling instincts and design fluency
- Balance strategic thinking with operational execution
- Define and manage the overarching story of the Drone Program
- Translate strategy and business objectives into clear, scalable messaging frameworks
- Ensure consistency of voice, positioning, and visual identity across audiences
- Build executive-ready presentations that drive decisions
- Transform complex, multifaceted information into sharp, visually compelling narratives
- Distill ambiguity into insight and action
- Create and manage a robust, scalable library of design assets
- Establish layout standards and storytelling structures
- Maintain brand alignment with Walmart standards while elevating program identity
- Protect the narrative from fragmentation across stakeholders
- Partner across matrixed teams to align messaging and priorities
- Navigate competing inputs while maintaining strategic coherence
- Support program management communications and operating rhythms
- 3–5+ years of experience in strategic communications, change management, creative operations, content strategy, marketing, or a related field
- Demonstrated experience building executive-facing materials
- Strong storytelling and visual design capabilities (PowerPoint/Keynote fluency required; design tools a plus)
- Experience operating in matrixed or enterprise environments
- Ability to prioritize under pressure and manage multiple stakeholders
