This is a casual position for a Research Assistant in the Department of Epidemiology at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. The research assistant will support epidemiologic research for an ongoing project on drivers of clonal hematopoiesis to hematologic malignancies in the ARIC cohort study.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform case adjudication.
- Select subsets of cases for laboratory assays.
- Perform advanced statistical analyses of the data on hematologic malignancies.
- Prepare datasets for other team members.
- Draft manuscripts.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in related discipline.
- Additional related experience may substitute for required education, to the extent permitted by the JHU equivalency formula.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in multidisciplinary collaborations with epidemiologists, hematology-oncologists, and basic scientists.
- R and SAS programming expertise.
