Team:  

Supply Chain at Relativity Space is responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing the end-to-end supply chain networks required to manufacture, test, and launch the next-generation reusable launch vehicle – Terran-R. Being both an internal and external facing function, we closely partner with an extensive number of groups to develop the operational strategies, processes, and tools that are utilized to fulfill end-customer demand for our launch services.

Our scope encompasses all vehicle hardware, where you will partner closely with the Design and Manufacturing Teams associated with the following subsystems & commodities:

Avionics:

  • Harnesses
  • PCBs & PCBAs
  • EEE components

Additive:

  • Metal Alloy Raw Material (Wire Arc Additive Manufacturing & Powder Bed Fusion)
  • Additive Development
  • Stargate Printer

Propulsion:

  • Vehicle Fluid System
  • AEON-R Engine

Stage Structures & Mechanisms:

  • Primary & Secondary Structures
  • Mechanical and Electrical Mechanisms

What you’ll do: 

The Supply Chain Program Manager is responsible for the coordination, implementation, & execution of the Direct Supply Management strategy for the Terran-R vehicle. This role reports directly to the head of Direct Supply Management and includes working with Sourcing, Planning, Procurement, IT, Finance, Engineering, Manufacturing, & vehicle Program Management stakeholders to support the development, qualification, and integration campaigns for our first flight & beyond. This constitutes managing the master schedule & integrating it within our Materials Requirements Planning (MRP) system, generating business intelligence via reports and dashboards to drive Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), drafting and architecting organizational governance via team policies & procedures, and leading the execution of various projects in the development of a best-in-class Supply Chain function.

Within this role you will:

  • Coordinate manufacturing schedules with supply chain lead times & design release dates to develop and maintain a master schedule, eventually integrating it into our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) platform to drive timely material demand
  • Integrating the master schedule with the larger Terran-R program Integrated Master Schedule (IMS)
  • Maintain overall BOM integrity within the ERP system and coordinate with Material Program Managers and Engineering on planning for design changes.
  • Generate and maintain dashboards to track program status and communicate key schedule and material supply health metrics to the broader organization including Manufacturing, Finance, and Engineering
  • Create presentations, data visualizations, and executive summaries to guide decision-making across the supply chain team
  • Respond promptly, accurately, and efficiently to data and research requests and questions
