Switchboard Operator

At Western Montana Clinic, we are continuing our 100-year tradition of providing excellent health care to the community. We are a group of local, independent providers practicing in multiple specialties. We are seeking a part-time Switchboard Operator to join our team. 

(Alternating 10 - 15 hours per week Thu-Fri/Wed-Fri 12pm - 5pm)

In this position you will:

• Answer all incoming and intra-clinic telephone calls.
• Research telephone numbers and addresses for clinic personnel as needed.
• Scan paper records to be indexed using company software.
• Log incoming release of information requests.
• Process recall letters.
• Research deceased patients for updating records.
• Maintain a clean, neat work area.
• Collaborate within the department to work as a team

Minimum Requirements for the switchboard operator:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience on a multi-line switchboard preferred
