Occupational Health Financial Services Coordinator – Work at Home - South Carolina
The Financial Services Coordinator is responsible for creating payment plans for patients and making sure they stick to their plans, monitoring transactions in accounts payable and receiving, and preparing financial reports.
Essential Functions:
- Receives and processes all invoices for payment by end of the month while ensuring accuracy
- Conducts routine audits as necessary to ensure accurate billing
- Enters patient charges, productivity, and office volumes on a daily basis
- Tracks and maintains operational statistics and accurately reports data to Finance and other appropriate entities monthly
- Communicates with new potential customers by quoting prices and providing formal proposals upon request
- Other duties as assigned
Education:
- High School Degree or GED (required)
- Bachelor’s degree in related field (preferred, not required)
Experience:
- 3 years of experience in an accounting or medical office environment (required)
- 5 years of experience of medical billing experience (preferred, not required)
- 2+ years’ experience with Excel (required)
- 2 -3 years’ Epic experience (preferred)
Skills & Abilities:
- Possesses problem-solving skills, basic computer skills, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Engage with staff and patients in a professional manner
