Summary of Job Duties:

The University of Arkansas is seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Intelligence Architect to lead the development of business intelligence (BI) systems focused on supporting Finance and Administrative functions. This role is pivotal in transforming data into actionable insights and enhancing decision-making capabilities across the university.

Key Responsibilities include leading the design, implementation, and support of BI applications and architecture across university functions (i.e. Power BI dashboards), leveraging both internal and external data; working closely with senior management across colleges and units to understand and prioritize data and information requirements; addressing and resolving complex technical issues related to BI tools and systems; designing and delivering training to educate users on developed BI tools; collaborating in the establishment of standards, policies, and procedures for the structure and attributes of BI tools and systems across the University. The Senior Business Intelligence Architect will also develop metrics to assess and ensure the quality of data and information; analyze BI data from multiple sources to inform business decisions; and partner with other units to model the outcomes of potential business decisions based on comprehensive data analysis.
