WHAT YOU’LL DO

As a BLS Dispatcher, you will play a key role as the first line of response in emergency and non-emergency calls. 

• Coordinate the work and activities of EMTs, First Responders and Nurses during emergency and non-emergency transports

• Be courteous and professional to patients, facility employees, co-workers, supervisors and the public at all times

• Receive, prioritize and dispatch calls in computer aided dispatch software (CAD) 

• Intake large volume of calls and determine appropriate level of EMS responsible required 

• Operate radio communication device, multi-line telephone system and various computer systems

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

• Availability Monday, Thursday, Friday, Sunday 7:30am - 7:30pm 

• Dispatch experience is preferred but not required

• Proficient computer skills

• Excellent communication skills

• Ability to work in high pressure situations

• Clean background check

• Negative drug screening
