Director, IT Strategy and Delivery Management

The Director, IT Strategy and Delivery Management is responsible for setting the vision of the Strategy and Delivery Management team (SDM) for the project management process including governance, team leadership, prioritization, and the delivery of the IT strategic plan. The role is accountable for successful realization of the SDM vision and project management performance across the IT organization's project portfolios. The role is responsible for driving maturity of project management practices and improvement of IT project delivery. The Director, IT Strategic Delivery Management, works with SDM customers to understand business drivers, define projects to address business needs, execute project plans, and measure results of project delivery.

  

Required Education and Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, IT or related field, OR equivalent combination of education/experience that demonstrates competency

• Minimum of ten (10) years project/program leadership experience using proven methodologies

• Minimum of five (5) years management experience

• Minimum of five (5) years management of a Project Office

• Experience managing complex projects through the entire project lifecycle, preferably in Healthcare IT

• Experience developing and socializing Project Management methodologies

• Experience working with Lean methods and tools for Continuous Performance/Process Improvement (CPI)

• Experience working with vendors, consultants and other purchased services

• Experience developing and managing departmental budgets

Preferred

• PMP (Project Management Professional Certification)

• Master's degree in Business Administration or a related field.

Compensation Range

$176,450.00 - $264,674.00 per year

Salary Information

This compensation range was calculated based on full-time employment (2080 hours worked per calendar year). Offers are determined by multiple factors including equity, skills, experience, and expertise, and may vary within the range provided.
