There is an opportunity for a talented individual to join Corebridge Financial (formerly AIG Retirement Services) as a Divisional Vice President of K12 Markets in the Western Region. This Division has $1.5B in assets under management and 29 advisors. The selected candidate would work to grow and develop assets in an area of the country that has a rich company history and strong upside potential, primarily in the Pacific Northwest.
Job responsibilities associated with the Divisional Vice President position include:
- Motivate and lead financial professionals
- Recruit, select and train all new financial professionals
- Grow the business through new group acquisition
- Sell, coach and assist with ongoing financial professional development
- Embrace and promote company initiatives
- Facilitate the sales of all products offered by Corebridge Financial Services and VALIC Financial Advisors, Inc.
- Maintain current groups and increase participation levels
- Increase enrollments and deposits in metropolitan and rural territories
- Address and solve business-related challenges as needed
- Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Regional Vice President
To be successful in this position, candidates must demonstrate strong communication and relationship-building skills in working with financial professionals, clients and the community. Candidates must also be a team player and embrace change.
Requirements:
The Ideal Candidate Should Have:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Extensive knowledge of Retirement Plan types and law
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role
- Series 7, 24, 66, 51 and Life and Health licenses
In addition, the successful candidate must possess and effectively demonstrate:
- Strong leadership skills
- Knowledge of all AIG product offerings
- Mentoring and coaching skills
- Ability to build customer loyalty
- Superior planning and organizational skills
