About the role

Stores and Advertising businesses rely heavily on each other’s success to drive profitable growth for Amazon. The North America Stores (NAS) Advertising PM-T is responsible for 1) identifying opportunities to drive mutually beneficial P&L outcomes for Stores and Advertising, 2) governing the release of insights based on risk to future profitability negotiations, and 3) providing Stores’ perspective on technical decisions for new customer experiences, improved relevance, or other on-site changes that impact the business.

This role partners closely with Stores + Ads Science (SAS) and other Ads and Stores cross-functional teams.

Key job responsibilities
We are looking for a Principal Product Manager - Technical to drive CX improvements for customers and mutually beneficial P&L outcomes across the Stores and Ads org. Working backwards from our customers and brands, you will need to define a vision and roadmap that helps optimize and orchestrate the end-to-end impact Advertising has on our Stores business. You'll collaborate with a team of software and data engineers, economists, PMs, PM-Ts, and s-team leadership. Success will require balancing big, industry changing goals with a bias for action and consistent delivery of joint value. You will also need to adeptly use data and compelling feedback to communicate and build support for your vision with partner teams and leadership. We are growing very fast and breaking new ground, so the ideal candidate is invigorated by an environment of ambiguity and constant change.

Key job responsibilities
* Define a roadmap based on feedback from all North America Store category teams across all Advertising products.
* Evangelize the vision with partner teams and leadership.
* Be the expert on how advertising is impacting the on-site CX for Stores.
* Collaborate closely with economists, data scientists, and engineers to ideate, design, develop and deliver continuous improvement.
* Inspire the team to continually invent and simplify solutions to complex problems.
* Vigorously and consistently settle hotly debated topics across senior leadership, then implement decisions with cross-functional stakeholders.
* Coordinate with partner teams to ensure we deliver seamless experiences across multiple advertiser touch points.
* Define success metrics for features, track performance, and deliver results.
