On-Call Photographer

THE ROLE: On-Call Photographer

An On-Call Photographer who will work closely with the Production team in Studio, and on Location in a fast paced fashion environment. Primary duties will be lighting and photographing on model Impact Imagery of Fashion Boutiques for Rue Gilt Groupe. Secondary duties will be maintaining studio and equipment organization, and working as a team on set.

This is a great opportunity to collaborate with a wonderful group of creatives, producing editorial photography in a studio environment. Workflow management, organization, and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment are key to this role. The ideal candidate should have a passion for photography and a desire to join a team-oriented environment. 

What you’ll Do:

• Light and Photograph Impact Imagery that engages our Members
• Assist with overall setup and breakdown of daily sets
• Understand Creative Direction and work closely with Art Directors on set
• Ensure a high level of consistent technical quality and aesthetics for all photography created
• Maintain File and Folder naming structure and Metadata Standards
• Willing to lend a hand to other Set Team members when needed
• Ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic Creative environment
• Learn what it takes to make the magic happen

• 2+ year degree in Photography
• 4+ years of Photography experience
• Strong Fashion portfolio demonstrating Natural and Studio lighting
• Must be self-starter, with a strong sense of teamwork in a fast-paced, high volume, deadline-driven environment
• Excellent organization and communication skills required, must have a great attitude and a passion for the creative
• Location Shoot experience preferred
