Job Summary :

This hybrid role is designed to support business applications as an analyst and serve as a project lead. The individual will split their time between these two roles, ensuring the efficient operation of business applications and leading projects to successful completion. The ideal candidate must be highly organized, able to follow written and oral instructions, and have experience troubleshooting complex systems

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities:

Business Applications Analyst:

  • Provide Tier 2 and 3 support for business applications, including troubleshooting and resolving complex issues.
  • Analyze business processes and applications to identify areas for improvement and recommend solutions.
  • Collaborate with various business units to understand their needs and provide technical support.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for business applications and processes.
  • Conduct training sessions for end-users on business applications and best practices.

Project Lead:

  • Lead IS projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets, and track progress against these plans.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration among project stakeholders.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks and issues and escalate as necessary.
  • Provide regular status updates to project stakeholders and management.

Education and Experience:

Required:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Experience supporting Workday or another ERP, UKG/Kronos, and other business and operational computer applications in a professional IT environment
  • Experience in solving complex issues working with a varied user population
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to follow written and oral instructions
  • Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in a similar role, with a focus on business applications and/or project management

Preferred:

  • Bachelor's degree in IT related or equivalent and relevant field
  • General knowledge of Human Resources, Finance, and Supply Chain Management is preferred but not required
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
