Seasonal Flowboy - CDLA (Home Daily)

Description

We are currently looking for Class "A" CDL truck drivers with experience and knowledge of loading, unloading and transporting asphalt in and around the Watersmeet, MI region during our construction season.

Seasonal Flow boy Driver Essential Duties:

• Follow appropriate safety procedures for transporting goods

• Check vehicles to ensure that mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment is in good working order

• Collect delivery instructions from appropriate sources, verifying instructions and routes

• Inspect loads to ensure that cargo is secure

• Maintain logs of working hours or of vehicle service or repair status, following applicable state and federal regulations

• Properly maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions

• Report vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damage to the appropriate parties

• Obtain receipts or signatures for delivered goods and collect payment for services when required

• Check all load-related documentation for completeness and accuracy

• Drive trucks to weigh stations before and after loading and along routes in compliance with state regulations

• Couple or uncouple trailers by changing trailer jack positions, connecting or disconnecting air or electrical lines

• Check trailers after contents have been unloaded to ensure no damage and all product has been removed

• Clean the inside and outside of trailers as necessary

Seasonal Flow boy Driver Compensation Package:

• $30/hr.

Requirements

• Licensed CDL Class A Driver license with acceptable MVR

• T Endorsement (Doubles Endorsement)

Flow boy Driver Requirements:

• 1+ years of CDLA driving experience

Flow boy Driver Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift a minimum of 25 pounds

• Must be able to pass a drug and alcohol screen

• Must be able to pass a DOT physical
