Summary

The Sr eFiling Clerk will be responsible for managing electronic filing systems, ensuring accurate and timely submission of documents, and maintaining records in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.

Location

This position is located in our Los Angeles or San Francisco office and offers a hybrid work schedule.


Responsibilities

  • Document Management: Prepare and upload documents into the electronic filing system, as needed convert to PDF.

  • Quality Control: Verify the accuracy and completeness of documents before submission.

  • Record Keeping: Maintain organized and up-to-date electronic records.

  • Compliance: Ensure all filings comply with legal and regulatory standards.

  • Communication: Coordinate with various departments to gather necessary documentation, if necessary.

  • Technical Support: Assist users with e-Filing system issues and provide training as needed.

  • Develop and implement e-filing procedures and best practices.

  • Liaise with court personnel to address e-filing-related concerns.

  • Manage a team of filing clerks and specialists, providing guidance and support.

  • Conduct regular audits of e-filing processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

  • Stay informed about changes in court rules and technology advancements.

  • Provides leadership to and manages a team of business professionals to include coaching, mentoring and professional development. Responsible for providing performance feedback on a regular basis.


Desired Skills

Previous experience in a clerical or administrative role, preferably in a legal or corporate setting. Strong leadership and management skills. Comprehensive knowledge of legal filing systems and court procedures. Excellent organizational and analytical abilities. Proficiency in legal research tools and software. Familiarity with e-Filing systems and document management software.

May require occasional overtime to meet filing deadlines.


Minimum Education

  • High School or GED


Preferred Education

  • Bachelor's Degree


Minimum Years of Experience

  • 5 years' experience in electronic filing with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.

Physical Demands
Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met.
