About the role

Glen Park is looking for a receptionist to join our team in our Glendale office. The Receptionist will greet and assist visitors and clients of the organization.

The ideal candidate will deliver a professional and qualified first impression to all visitors. This person has excellent communication and customer service skills. He/she has a basic understanding of administrative and clerical procedures/systems and the ability to multitask in a busy environment.

Medical Receptionist Responsibilities: 

  • Guest services – Welcome guests, employees, and clients who arrive at the office and clarify the purpose of their visit and who they want to see. Answer all phone calls and emails sent to the main office and provide inter-office messages as requested.  
  • Administration – Send out and receive mail, documents, supplies and packages. Distribute items to mailboxes and offices as requested. File and keep good records. Maintain office supplies and reorder as needed. Maintain an organized filing system.  Manage a schedule for those needing support and schedule appointments as required.  
  • Medical & Resident Support Coordination – Assist with front-office coordination related to resident care, including communicating non-clinical information between nursing staff, caregivers, families, and outside providers. Maintain confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA standards when handling resident information. Support documentation processes, appointment tracking, and administrative tasks related to medical services, assessments, and care coordination.

Caregiver Job Summary:
As a Direct Care Staff member, you will assist elderly residents, convalescents, and individuals with disabilities in a care facility setting. Your responsibilities will include supporting daily living activities, helping to maintain a clean living environment, and participating in the nutritional, personal care, and social aspects of our residents' lives. You may also offer advice to residents and their families on nutrition, cleanliness, and household activities to help support a fulfilling lifestyle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Daily Living Support: Provide assistance with activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, eating, and toileting.
  • Meal Assistance: Help serve meals at mealtimes and snacks as needed.
  • Activities Program Participation: Engage in and support the facility’s Activities Program to enhance residents' quality of life.
  • Ongoing Training: Attend monthly and quarterly in-services provided by the facility, totaling one hour per month and twelve hours per year.
  • Certifications: Maintain current CPR and First Aid training.

Requirements:

  • A high school diploma is required
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Reliable, professional, courteous and patient
  • Excellent communication and writing skills
