Job Description

We are working with a financial services client who is in need of 2 Business Analysts who will be responsible for improving processes and automating processes in support of regulatory reporting efforts which include the re-platforming of data to approved enterprise standards. The ideal candidates must have strong experience with broker dealer reporting (15c3-1 net capital rule) and experience in reporting the 15c3-3 reserve rule.

Project Length: 6 months

Location: Hybrid-Charlotte, NC or New York City

Compensation: This role will compensate between $80-$90/HR W2 depending upon years of experience, education, and relevant certifications. 

Responsibilities

  • Accountable for leveraging Axiom to source, transform and feed detailed data into report forms, while increasing efficiencies, automation and accuracy of results
  • Reconcile reporting results and identify any root cause of variance
  • Review and document reporting requirements, in partnership with technology and broader project teams
  • Communicate, influence and negotiate both vertically and horizontally
  • Manage program risk and issue resolution, driving root cause analysis and accountability
  • Remove obstacles and proactively challenge processes in order to ensure goals are achieved in a timely manner 

Qualifications

  • 2-5 years financial services and regulatory reporting experience, including broker dealer reporting (net capital, customer reserve, and focus reports)
  • Strong experience with broker dealer reporting (15c3-1 net capital rule) is required.
  • Experience in reporting and, to a limited extent, the 15c3-3 reserve rule
  • Experience working with Axiom within a regulatory reporting environment is required
  • 3-5 years Business Analysis experience, with high-level of comfort working within an agile project environment
  • Strong business centric mindset with ability to utilize sound business judgment and tailor approach to drive optimal business outcomes
  •  Bank Finance, Regulatory Reporting, Accounting or similar background and experience are required
  • Strong analytical, communication and organizational skills along with system proficiencies and subject matter expertise
  • Strong ability to analyze complex reporting results and identify root causes for any variance
  • Experience working with financial and non-financial data sets, with broad product experience
  • Experience partnering with enterprise change management standards, tools and methodologies
  • Strong business relationship management and communication skills
