Business Development - Software Solutions

Our partner is seeking a Business Development - Software Solutions professional in Germantown, WI to pursue sales and onboard new customers to myQ Dock Management, including bundling relevant hardware, installing, and training end-users in the technology. This position requires flexibility and willingness to perform various job duties related to sales and customer service of connectivity.

Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate and sell myQ Dock Management to end-users.
• Install iDock Gateways and other connectivity hardware at customer facilities.
• Train end-users on the functionality of myQ Dock Management.
• Maintain and convert trial customers into paying customers.
• Assist dealers in effectively selling and connecting new customers to myQ Dock Management.
• Work with Regionals to present, demo, sell etc. connectivity to the customer.
• Communicate with Customer Service on connectivity orders.
• Communicate customer feedback to Marketing, Sales, and R&D.
• Communicate regional-based activity with Regional Managers from each brand.
• Maintain customer account activity in detail in CRM (ACT).
• Bi-weekly status update reporting
• Travel, when necessary, up to 40% of the time, including overnight trips.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business or marketing field, or comparable professional experience.
• 3-6 years of sales/business development experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Experience with B2B sales is preferred.
• Strong computer proficiency and general knowledge of IoT technology is preferred.
• Knowledge of material handling, overhead door, and loading dock equipment is a plus.
