Job Description:  

This is professional engineering work involving the engineering and related administrative activities associated with project development.

The Project Manager will be supporting the Senior Project Manager by:

  • Developing and maintaining project schedules of all assigned projects to the Project Team using MaineDOT scheduling software,
  • Assisting with project scope and budgets,
  • Review of design consultant proposals including developing government estimates and review of invoices,   
  • Assisting with public outreach both with municipalities and private property owners,
  • Ensuring conformance to MaineDOT's contracts, provisions, policies, specifications, procedures, and rules,
  • Reviewing, and evaluating aspects of projects from start to finish, and
  • Assisting the Senior Project Manager with project management

Supervision may be exercised over technical, engineering, and professional personnel.

To be minimally qualified for this position candidates must provide evidence of the following experience:

Licensure as a Professional Engineer or twelve (12) years experience in technical engineering.
