About the role

Job Description

 

As a Program Manager within the HR Shared Services organization, you will be responsible for overseeing the implementation of various technology products, tools, and projects aimed at streamlining and enhancing operational efficiency and effectiveness. This role will be instrumental in establishing and optimizing connections with HR Information Systems (HRIS), payroll systems, and time and attendance platforms to streamline and elevate HR service delivery. This role will also focus on driving lean principles and continuous process improvement initiatives as well as driving a lean mindset with operational teams. Scope of this role will include regional (North and Latin America) and global efforts to drive standardization and efficiencies.  

Job Responsibilities

 

Project Management:

  • Lead the planning, execution, and closure of projects related to IT products, tool implementations, and process improvements within HR Shared Services.
  • Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams, including HR, IT, and external vendors, to ensure project milestones are achieved on time and within budget.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful project delivery.


Tool Implementations:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders and internal IT teams to identify requirements for new IT tools, and process or software enhancements to existing things within HR Shared Services.
  • Collaborate with IT in the selection process for tools and vendors, including conducting evaluations, negotiating contracts, and making recommendations in order to bridge gaps and ensure needs are met 
  • Oversee the implementation and rollout of tools, ensuring proper training and support for end-users.
  • Advise and oversee IT implementations and go-live rollouts for internal and external vendor IT teams.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in HR program management and technology, leveraging insights to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant data privacy and security regulations in all HR systems and processes


Lean and Continuous Improvement:

  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement within HR Shared Services by promoting lean principles and methodologies.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes, eliminate waste, and optimize resource utilization.
  • Facilitate process mapping and improvement workshops, engaging stakeholders to identify and implement efficiency gains.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the impact of process improvements and track ongoing performance.
  • Oversee and advise on quality control, testing, and GO LIVE processes


Stakeholder Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across HR Shared Services and other departments including internal IT and external vendor teams.
  • Communicate project updates, milestones, and risks to stakeholders in a clear and timely manner.
  • Manage internal resources and teams, and external vendors.  

Background & Skills

 

  • Bachelor's degree in any of the following: Engineering, IT, Business Administration, Human Resources or Project Management; Master's degree is preferred.
  • 8+ years of experience in IT/HR implementations, project management, product management.
  • Strong understanding of lean principles and continuous improvement methodologies, including Agile and Scrum methodologies
  • Experience managing software and IT tool implementations, roll out and change management. 
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, manage resources and teams on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Global work experience is preferred.
  • Multilingualism is preferred, especially English, Spanish stakeholder and external vendor teams, across European HQ, Americas and India vendors.
