About the role
Framestore Los Angeles is looking for the next generation of VFX talent with a passion for CG (in any discipline - FX, Generalists, Modeling, Lighting, Texture, Animation, Rigging) to take part in a 4-month paid internship working in our award winning CG team.
Our internship program is focused on developing the candidates skills in a production environment. You will be matched with a mentor who will provide instruction and regular reviews of your work, in addition to inclusion in the day-to-day workings of our CG team. You will work alongside experienced artists, attend project reviews, and take creative briefings.

Internships will be conducted in a hybrid or fully remote (from within the United States) model. Please make sure you have internet access for your remote days and be prepared to work during standard Pacific Time business hours.
Requirements
- A good working knowledge of Houdini and/or Maya
- Working knowledge of Arnold (or comparable rendering platforms)
- Ability to interpret and follow reference material to create clean, highly detailed and accurate results per your discipline
- Familiarity with Linux systems (or eagerness to learn)
