Location: Cedar Springs, MI
Type: Full time Permanent Employment / M-F 7:30AM -4:00PM
Pay: $22-$24 Per hour DOE + Amazing benefits package! No out-of-pocket benefit expenses!
Primary duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Maintaining employee records and files
- Assisting with benefits administration
- Yearly review coordination
- Assisting with recruitment and hiring processes
- Onboarding new employees
- Tracking employee training and PTO0
- Facilitating employee engagement and events
- Reviewing and preparing timecard data
- Assisting with HR compliance and safety program
- Fleet Tracking and Management
- Providing administrative support to all employees
** The ideal candidate should also have payroll experience and the ability to provide back up in this area **
Cross training will be required in the following areas:
- Payables Invoice Input / Analysis
- Credit Card Receipt Management
Key qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities include but are not limited to:
- HR, benefits administration and payroll experience.
- Previous HR experience in Construction / Trades a must!
- Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred but no required!
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Confidentiality is a must and good judgement skills are critical.
- Willing and able to provide a broad range of administrative support.
- Spectrum Viewpoint and UKG Software experience a plus.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook.
- Operates with honesty and integrity.
- Self-driven, reliable, and able to work independently even under pressure.
- Solid planning, organizing, time management and problem-solving skills.
- Strong teamwork and collaboration with peers and leaders.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
