A Senior Staff Accountant, Transaction Processing is responsible for recording day to day financial transactions in the general ledger and ensuring the accuracy and completeness of those records.

Requirements:
- Five (5) or more years of experience in Accounting/Finance
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field from an accredited university
- Strong understanding of general accounting knowledge and principles
- Strong computer skills
Preferred:
- Google Suite
- Oracle
- CPA
About the Opportunity:
- General Ledger Management: Record financial transactions in the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and completeness of records.
- Integration Accuracy: Assist with reconciling daily integration accuracy by utilizing suspense accounts.
- Month End Close: Assist the Senior Accountants during the close processes; monthly, quarterly and year end.
- Communication and Collaboration: Collaborating with other departments, such as Corporate Accounting, other SBO finance teams, and operations, to ensure that financial records and transactions are accurately recorded and reported.
- Process Improvement: Assist in assessing current processes and identifying opportunities to increase efficiency and reduce errors.
- Compliance: Ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures and regulatory requirements related to accounting.
