We build and maintain a number of open-source projects that support our clients and internal R&amp;D. Our latest release is <a href="https://upsidelab.io/tools/enthusiast" rel="noopener" target="_blank">Enthusiast</a>, an AI Agent framework tailored for e-commerce use cases.</p><p></p><p><strong>Role Overview:</strong><br/>As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will ensure the highest standards of software quality by conducting comprehensive integration, regression, and acceptance testing, in addition to assisting in bug reproduction and retesting of fixed tasks. Your role will involve creating and maintaining essential QA documentation and working closely with developers, project managers, and customer representatives to facilitate seamless project execution. You'll be part of a development team, sized between 3 to 9 members, dedicated to crafting scalable and resilient systems. <br/></p> <h3>Requirements</h3> <p>→ 3+ years of <strong>commercial experience in software testing,</strong></p><p>→ Advanced <strong>manual testing skills</strong> and experience in <strong>creating and maintainingtesting processes,</strong></p><p>→ <strong>Intermediate automation skills</strong>, with practical experience in one or more testing frameworks - e.g Cypress, Playwright, Jest, Postman</p><p>→ Working experience in <strong>creating user documentation,</strong></p><p>→ Working experience in <strong>contact with clients and requirements</strong> </p><p>→ Knowledge of <strong>testing principles, test techniques, and test methodologies,</strong></p><p>→ <strong>Curiosity and growth mindset</strong> - willingness to deepen automation and DevOps testing skills</p><p>→ <strong>Ability to closely collaborate </strong>with developers, PM, customer representatives during the project</p><p>→ Great command of written and spoken <strong>English</strong> (C1 and above) and proficiency in Polish.</p><p></p><p><br/></p><h4><strong>Nice to have:</strong></h4><p>→ Experience in <strong>API testing - Postman</strong></p><p>→ Interest in <strong>automation test frameworks</strong> - e.g. Selenium</p><p>→ Experience in testing <strong>AI powered</strong> features</p><p>→ <strong>ISTQB</strong> Foundation level </p><p></p><p><br/></p><p><br/></p><h4><strong>What your work would look like:</strong></h4><p>→ Conducting thorough integration, regression, and acceptance testing to ensure software meets our rigorous standards.</p><p>→ Collaborating with the development and business teams to accurately reproduce bugs for effective troubleshooting.</p><p>→ Performing diligent retesting of resolved bugs/tasks to verify fixes before they are deployed.</p><p>→ Developing and maintaining comprehensive QA documentation to support testing processes and methodologies. <br/></p><p><strong><br/></strong></p><p>If you didn't find all the information you were looking for, have a look at our <a href="https://github.com/upsidelab/handbook" rel="noopener" target="_blank">handbook</a> - it covers a variety of different matters that could be important at this stage.
