Overview
Audacy Miami is looking for ambitious, energetic, and outgoing individuals to join our Promotions & Experiences Team! You'll help represent 7 incredible brands in South Florida: WPOW/Power 96, WKIS/KISS Country 99.9, WSFS/104.3 The Shark, WLYF/101.5 LITE FM, WMXJ/102.7 The Beach, WAXY/Radio Libre 790, and WQAM/560 Sports!
This is a part-time, flex schedule position with a great organization that allows you to get your foot in the door in a fast-paced, industry-leading, media company. The Promotions Assistant/Street Team position here in Miami allows the opportunity to both showcase and enhance a multitude of desired skill sets including in-field marketing, event production, live broadcast assistance, photography, videography, editing, social media coordination, office assistance and more. You'll be the face, heart, and soul of 3 powerful brands serving at the forefront of listener interactions, concerts, sport and lifestyle events, and much more.
Responsibilities
What You'll Do:
Our Promotions Assistant/Street Team is responsible for spreading the word and passion for our stations and brands to the masses by taking to the street! You will assist with everything from in-office support such as preparing and executing on-air, online, and on-site contests, contacting winners, processing winner paperwork, and more, to working live events such as concerts, festivals, appearances, and remote broadcasts, assisting with setup, teardown, on-site activations, audio/video equipment, producing content and contributing to the brand’s social media presence, driving station vehicles, and more!

The Promotions Assistant/Street Team is responsible for the following, including but not limited to:
- Possess and maintain a friendly, team player, customer service and solution oriented attitude at all times.
- Set up, execute, and break down on-site promotional events such as station appearances, live broadcasts, concerts, festivals, sponsorship activations, 3rd-party events, and more.
- Coordinate & manage personnel, attendees, clients, listeners and more at events.
- Organize, pack/prepare, transport, set up and break down promotional and event equipment and assets as required.
- Set up and run audio and other types of equipment during events.
- Hang banners & signage, put up tents, build activations and other staging elements at events.
- Assist in capturing content (photo, video, audio) while at events for social media and event recaps.
- Assist with social media management using various station accounts and adhering to FTC, FCC, Copyright, and Image Use policies, protocols, and laws.
- Responsible for conducting sweepstakes and/or contests while at events, adhering to company best practices and policies and any and all FTC and FCC guidelines.
- Drawing sweepstakes/contest winners and fulfilling winner release forms and other waivers when needed.
- Contacting sweepstakes/contest winners and distributing prizes.
- Maintain inventory and quality of promotional equipment, assets, and promotional items.
- Maintain company vehicles in a clean and neat manner and assistance in coordinating necessary maintenance.
- Create recap decks for events, promotions, and sponsorships.
- Utilize Canva and/or other editing software to create graphics for events and promotions.
- Create, manage, and publish content and event pages on station websites.
- Check email daily; attend mandatory meetings on time; be able to work weekends, holidays, and blackout dates (specified by Promotions Director/Manager).
- Must be available to work Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
- May need to work with little notice.
- Must be 21 or older.
Qualifications
Required:
- A positive attitude, good work ethic, team-player and customer service mentality, and ability and willingness to work independently when required.
- Valid Driver's License with a good record and ability to drive station vehicles to and from events.
- Ability to lift and/or carry equipment.
- Professional appearance and punctuality.
- Reliable and dependable mode of transportation.
- High School Diploma or GED.
Preferred:
- Experience using Google Workspaces
