Construction Supervisor ll

We are searching for Construction Supervisor ll on behalf of our client.  This is a 1 yr. contract assignment. The person will be supporting the installation of 3 Wartsila delay units inside of a Pre-engineered metal building, it's essentially going to require electrical knowledge without the GE turban knowledge. The 400 and 480 Volt 416013.8 transmission tie ins. Looking for a candidate who's familiar with building wiring, Power Distribution systems and transmission tie ins. This role is part of the client’s  building the next generation of power; renewable energy which is the forefront for them.

 

Location: Shakopee, MN

Standard 10 hours a day/5 days per week with Saturday as required.

OT is required. Role starts at 50 hours per week.

                                                               

Responsibilities

• Resources will be expected to be onsite 5 days per week. They
• Will be responsible for reviewing the project drawings, project specs and familiarize themselves with it.
• Ensuring that all the electrical components out in the field are being installed per drawing in spec as required.
• The person should have a solid knowledge of best practice so that they can spot any deficiencies in their work practices that the contractor.
• Will be working within a highly collaborative onsite team that includes construction managers, project engineers in addition to logistics staff.

 

Requirements

• Candidates must have either has the education or has demonstrated the ability to perform this role.  

• With 5-7 years of previous experience electrical [inspection] experience in addition to hands on technical knowledge to be able to understand right/wrong during contractor

• Must be proficient with PDF/Adobe Pro, Bluebeam and/or other electric drawing management viewing tools.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to/from site.
