Then keep reading - we may have just the right job for you! Our regional clinical organization is expanding and is looking for a Senior Regional Clinical Operations Manager.

 

The position

This role is a senior project leadership position – while being an individual contributor role without any direct reports, the Senior Regional Clinical Operations Manager is working extensively with different multi-country Clinical Development Centers (CDCs) and senior leaders to drive results on strategic projects on SEEMEA level.

You may expect to be involved in the following tasks:

  • Track, report and initiate mitigations when needed for clinical trial activities throughout Region SEEMEA

  • Establish and generate insight on metrics e.g. for performance and resource utilisation across Region SEEMEA

  • Ensure effective communication of clinical operations topics between HQ, Region SEEMEA and CDCs e.g. on country allocation but not only

  • Actively contribute to the consolidation of the CDC structure: driving trial operations excellence across CDCs, chair/co-chair the CDC Trial Management Forums, actively contribute to knowledge sharing within the group, etc.

  • Represent Region SEEMEA in relevant global fora – take Region SEEMEA seat in global teams, e.g. Clinical Development Teams

 

The role can be based in Warsaw or Copenhagen. You may expect some business trips throughout the year – to Regional office in Zurich, across SEEMEA region and/or to our HQ in Copenhagen.

 

Qualifications

We are looking for a candidate who would be fluent in English and has extensive background in clinical operations in a multi-country set-up, including minimum 5 years of solid clinical project management experience, i.e. supporting large multicounty trials as a Clinical Team Manager / Clinical Project Manager / Trial Manager, etc.

Our ideal candidate also meets the following criteria:

  • Demonstrated proficiency in management of clinical trials phase 2-3 from feasibility assessment of protocol & pre-trial preparation to trial closure and finalization of final trial report

  • Solid knowledge of excel and other tools to track metrics

  • Team orientated personality with high degree of flexibility and cross-cultural awareness, ability to form productive working relationships with internal and external customers

  • Flexibility and ability to manage projects with different priorities, changing deadlines and limited resources

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

 

About the department

Region South East Europe, Middle East and Africa (SEEMEA) is a new set up of clinical organization in Novo Nordisk, covering a group of 20+ countries, organized through 9 Clinical Development Centers (CDCs): CDC Poland (12 countries), CDC Czech Republic, CDC Greece, CDC Italy, CDC Bulgaria, CDC Israel, CDC Russia, CDC South Africa, CDC Turkey (6 countries). CDCs are responsible for conducting clinical trials across respective (group of) countries, providing clinical trial management and administration support to adjacent Affiliates.
