We are seeking a Junior Project Manager to join our Offshore Station Keeping (OSK) team, based in Antwerp or Hamme. This role is instrumental in driving the success of deep rope and floating wind projects.

About the role

 

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing both internal and external project follow-up, ensuring the timely and successful delivery of project milestones. Your primary tasks will include:

 

• Leading kick-off meetings and pre-production meetings with clients and internal teams.
• Collaborating with the planning team to confirm project requirements and timelines.
• Coordinating with inspection authorities and planning external tests with the DNV lab.
• Preparing detailed project documents, including Inspection and Test Plans, Project Execution Plans, and technical specifications.
• Creating and maintaining detailed progress reports, coordinating weekly meetings with clients.
• Managing purchase orders for materials, equipment, and transport.
• Overseeing logistics, including reel handling and on-site unloading operations.
• Coordinating with production teams to ensure compliance with project specifications.
• Conducting inspections alongside clients, inspectors, and certification bodies.
• Monitoring supplier invoices, managing project costs, and ensuring timely client payments.
• Supporting the OSK manager with technical bid documents and tenders.

About You

 

Essential skills & competencies

 

• Minimum bachelor’s degree, preferably in Engineering or Project Management, or equivalent experience
• Proficiency in English and Dutch (written and verbal)
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Tools including Visio and CAD/CAM software
• Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Proactive and capable of managing stress in high pressure situations
• Technically proficient with a good understanding of project dynamics
• Problem solving skills are a must!
