Summary
The Senior Analyst - MQ Inbound Operations position manage the daily operations of all the material that are of long-haul flatbed pickups for inbound transportation and vendor management. They will also schedule, track, and monitor material returns from the plant to vendors and customers. This position will assist management with overall logistics department priorities including special projects and reporting.
Responsibilities
• Manage all long-haul flatbed and MQ Dedicated Inbound pickups and escalate performance issues immediately (as necessary)
◦ Collaborate with Mexico and San Diego Procurement teams and import department to import material in a timely manner to avoid delays for plant production schedules
◦ Allocate carrier transportation for material for long-haul flatbed and MQ flatbed Dedicated Inbound shipments and coordinate border crossing deliveries to the plants in Mexico
◦ Resolve material and document issues that pertain to importations of flatbed loads
◦ Provide updates to import, procurement, and warehouse for all long-haul flatbed and MQ flatbed dedicated shipments
◦ Request import documents form HT Import department for timely deliveries to HYMEX plants
◦ Ensure carriers are providing POD's for long-haul flatbed loads
◦ Schedule all "wood" shipments from HAVCO and Vonore
◦ Timely reporting of long-haul flatbed loads
• Assign equipment according to export needs to maximize usage of equipment
◦ Track unplanned inbound accessorial charges for future management decisions
◦ Report daily delivery numbers for inbound goal monitoring
◦ KPI reporting
◦ Request capacity from carriers for all border crossing of loads and expedite deliveries
◦ Notify carrier of approval and provide pick up information
◦ Support Admin team with review of load information to minimize detentions
• Assist on projects as requested from management including documenting and streaming inbound and admin processes
◦ Other duties as assigned
Compensation
$58,000-$63,000 Annually (Subject to Compensation Study Upon Candidate Selection)

Education & Experience
• Associate's Degree Required
• Bachelor's Degree Preferred
• 3 - 5 Years of direct experience in Logistics, Supply Chain, Cross Border Transactions Required
• 4 - 7 Years of direct experience in Logistics, Supply Chain, Cross Border Transactions Preferred
Physical Requirements
• Ability to sit in front of a desk and/or in front of the computer for long periods
• Repetitive use of hand/grasping product, writing, and typing
• Possibility of domestic travel- 5%
