ABOUT THE JOB
The Anduril Rocket Motor Systems (ARMS) team is on a mission to build next generation solid rocket motors for a safer, more connected world. To achieve our vision of becoming a large-volume provider of tactical rocket motors, we will develop differentiated products and services that maximize our customers’ capabilities, and we will establish and maintain a reputation of Quality and Reliability.
As a rocket fuel manufacturing technician, you will be responsible for performing tasks with several pieces of equipment on a daily basis. You will exercise judgement within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate actions.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Ensure compliance with operating procedures for receiving, handling, storing, and shipping of products and materials.
- Manage inventory, including tracking raw materials, consumables, spare parts.
- Prepare material & equipment for process runs.
- Follow procedures to operate large and complex equipment.
- Adhere to safe practices while identifying and implementing improvements.
- Ensure a safe working environment for all personnel including surveying facility for repair and maintenance items and adhering to safety programs.
- Perform preventative equipment maintenance.
- Measure and record technical data from analytical tools.
- Perform other tasks, as required by the organization.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export-controlled information or facilities.
- Must be able to obtain a US Government security clearance.
- 2+ years of experience in industrial manufacturing operations, including experience operating industrial equipment, shipping, receiving, inventory, and quality control.
- Proficient with computer applications.
- Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects throughout the workday.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Good communication skills.
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects and work in various conditions.
- Ability to work autonomously once given a task, with limited oversight.
- Willing to handle hazardous material and hazardous waste safely and appropriately.
The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations.
