HR Business Partner (US)

Job Purpose

We are currently seeking a Human Resources Business Partner who will be responsible for developing and cultivating employee relationships across the multiple US branches of the organization. This role requires an individual with strong business acumen, solid decision-making skills, with the ability to influence a positive working environment. The incumbent will report to the HR manager of North America and work in close collaboration with the President of Groeneveld-Beka North America

 

Essential Responsibilities:

 

Talent Management

  • Conducts recruitment efforts for all exempt and nonexempt personnel, students and temporary employees; employee relations counseling, outplacement counseling and training; writes and places position advertisements.
  • Responsible for full-cycle recruitment processes, from posting, selection, pre-employment screening, offers of employment, and onboarding.
  • Coordinating the on-boarding of new hires in conjunction with cross-functional teams – i.e., Service, Inside Sales, Engineering
  • Post-hire follow up to ensure benefit administration, smooth transition and company policy awareness is satisfactory.

 

Compliance

  • Maintains knowledge of industry trends and employment legislation and ensures compliance in both Federal and State
  • Communicates changes in personnel policies and procedures and ensures proper compliance is followed.
  • Partner with HR Compliance Team to implement and monitor HR compliance within HR systems, and applicable federal/state law (including but not limited to 1-9s, personnel files, Worker’s Compensation, EEO, ADA, and FMLA.
  • Assist with immigration documents such as US visas and border documentation for non-resident associates seeking entry to other countries on business related travel.
