• Architect, implement and deploy new data models and data processes in production.
• Perform data analysis to generate business insights.
• Interface with Engineers, Product Managers and Product Analysts to understand product goals and data needs.
• Build data expertise and own data quality for allocated areas of ownership.
• Manage data warehouse plans for a product or a group of products.
• Support critical data processes running in production.
• Solve challenging data integration problems utilizing optimal ETL patterns, frameworks, query techniques, and sourcing from structured and unstructured data sources.
• Optimize pipelines, dashboards, frameworks, and systems to facilitate easier development of data artifacts.

Minimum Qualifications

• Requires a Master's degree (or foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Mathematics, Information Systems Management or a related field and, completion of one coursework, research project or internship.
• Experience must include completion of one coursework, research project, or internship involving the following:
• 1. Programming knowledge in Python
• 2. Knowledge of SQL, and MapReduce/MPP systems
• 3. Knowledge of database systems and technologies: Presto, Spark, HDFS, Airflow
• 4. Custom ETL design, implementation, maintenance
• 5. Schema design and dimensional data modelling
• 6. Data design for products/features, adaptation, and use-case scenarios within and across a big data ecosystem

$138,260/year to $154,660/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base hourly rate, monthly rate, or annual salary only, and do not include bonus, equity or sales incentives, if applicable.
