Overview
This full-time faculty position is a 12-month appointment with primary responsibilities for teaching and research in the School of Physical Therapy within Touro University Nevada’s College of Health and Human Services. This position fulfills duties to further the mission of the department, college, and University by participating in student education, scholarly activities, and University service. Faculty members are encouraged to conduct original research/scholarly activities and pursue extramural funding in their areas of interest. As a core faculty member, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the next generation of physical therapy professionals.

Responsibilities
Qualifications
Education:
- A doctoral degree (Ph.D., DPT, or equivalent) in Physical Therapy or a related field.
- A current and unrestricted license to practice physical therapy in the state of Nevada.
Experience:
- Clinical or teaching experience in Physical Therapy preferred.
- Previous teaching experience in higher education is preferred but not mandatory.
- Demonstrated expertise and experience in the field of physical therapy through clinical practice, research, and/or teaching.
Skills & Abilities:
- Willingness to embrace innovative teaching methodologies and technology to enhance student learning experiences.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, colleagues, and external partners.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple responsibilities effectively.
- Strong knowledge base in specialty area(s).
- Ability to work collaboratively.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the enthusiasm and motivation to contribute to the growth and development of the School of Physical Therapy.
