Position Overview:

 

The Novelis Global Learning & Development Center of Excellence team is seeking a Learning and Development Lead, reporting to the Sr. Director Global Learning & Development. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design and implementation of learning initiatives at enterprise level, building capabilities for the effective deployment of learning solutions in leadership development, professional development, and business functions. This position will share in building a comprehensive learning experience for employees working with regional L&D teams and business stakeholders. The position also acts as a liaison for Novelis to ABG (parent company) -level learning initiatives. Please apply if you want to join a team who is reinventing learning for an outstanding company!

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Responsibilities:

• Manage leadership competency framework and conduct competencies profile reviews according to Novelis business drivers
• Approach leadership interventions with flexibility, ensuring the final outcomes are designed with a high level and high-quality content solutions
• Manage the learning roadmap with Regions, Businesses and Functions through Regional network of Talent Managers, Learning & Development Heads and HR Business partners
• Own regular cadence of communication with stakeholders on L&D topics and programs
• Collaborate across multiple geographies, cultures, and time zones. Effectively delivering results requires strong organizational skills, ability to influence without authority and to build credibility with the internal stakeholders
• Partner with Novelis parent company, ABG Learning & Development teams on common initiatives and share best practices
• Build partnership with external experts and business schools crafting a pool of potential solution providers for leadership development
• Key success factors for the role are the combination of functional expertise at COE level in a global deployment context coupled with the strong bias for application and ease of deployment to enable impact

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in related field
• 5+ years of Leadership development, professional development, or business functional development experience, preferably in a variety of projects and initiatives
• Design-thinking approach and strong customer centricity
• Ability to collaborate and work effectively across different cultures
• Resourceful and creative problem-solving skills
• Ability to execute seamlessly in a fast-paced environment
• Strong collaboration and teamwork skills
• Excellent communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Graduate degree
• Project management experience
• Instructional design knowledge
• Learning Management Systems knowledge
