Our client, a global pharmaceutical corporation, is seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to join the team. This role will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining data architectures that support the requirements of our clients. The successful candidate will play a critical role in the development and implementation of data solutions that will drive business insights and improve decision-making processes.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and optimize data architectures that support the requirements of the business.
Develop data pipelines and ETL processes to ingest and transform data from various sources.
Work closely with data analysts and data scientists to ensure data quality and accuracy.
Develop and maintain scripts and tools to automate data processing tasks.
Implement security and privacy measures to protect sensitive data.
Troubleshoot and debug issues related to data processing and storage.
Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in the field of data engineering.

Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
At 3+ years of experience in data engineering, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.
Strong programming skills in languages such as Python.
R and R Shiny experience
Front-end development expertise
Experience with data science and data modeling.
Capable of report writing and presenting findings
Strong ETL and API experience and skills
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
