Position Overview

Graham  Correctional Center is seeking a detail-oriented individual with accounting experience to serve as an  Accountant Supervisor in the Business Office. Duties will include verifying accounting records, directing staff engaged in the maintenance of locally held funds and reconciliation of the institution computerized budget package as well as monitoring inventories. Essential Functions

• Serves as a working supervisor.
• Verifies accounting records reflect the current fiscal position of the institution.
• Directs staff engaged in maintenance of locally held funds.
• Guides and directs staff in the maintenance and reconciliation of the institution computerized budget package.
• Controls and monitors Individual in Custody & Employee Commissary Inventory.
• Performs other duties as assigned or required which are reasonably within the scope of those enumerated above.

Minimum Qualifications

• Requires knowledge, skill, and mental development equivalent to completion to four (4) years of college, with courses in business administration and accounting.
